More Grado Cups.
Following the all aluminum Grado cups, I still had the bug to make more.The next set I made are all walnut with a CA (super glue) finish.
Walnut Grado Cups
The next set I wanted to combine the walnut and aluminum. These were a challenge to keep the finish even, but I was pleased with the result. At this point I added a Jmoney headband and G-cush pads. Headphonelounge looks like a good source for leather headbands if you cant find a Jmoney band. While the G-cush pads change the sound, I find them wearable for much longer periods.
These are gorgeous, and I would do awful things to buy a pair. A shame you no longer have access to a lathe. If the situation changes, let me know.
